Humboldt State University’s 2007 “Educational Encounter: Cultivating Knowledge for Social Change” will host a series of workshops the weekend of Mar. 2-4 that will span K-college online learning, social skills education, health literacy, salmon issues, tribal sovereignty, elementary school experiences, service learning, community rights, and autonomous Zapatista education, among others. Education Encounter fees are $40 general, $10 for students and on-site registration is available at the Office of Extended Education on the HSU campus (Student Business Services Room 211).
